Globe is expanding digital and artificial intelligence infrastructure to support Philippine businesses expanding regionally and foreign firms entering the local market, aligned with the ASEAN Digital Economy Framework Agreement concluded May 2026.
DEFA is set to streamline cross-border digital trade, data flows, payments, data protection, cybersecurity and emerging technology adoption across the region.

Capital expenditure reached ₱26.3 billion in H1 2026, with 91 percent focused on data network expansion and quality upgrades. Corporate Data revenues hit a record ₱11.0 billion, up 15 percent year-on-year.
Globe is advancing over 260 AI use cases across personalization, customer experience, intelligent networks and new products. Network upgrades include modernized transport systems, wider fiber coverage and stronger resilience to support rising AI and cloud demand. These capabilities enable businesses to apply AI to improve operations, serve customers better and launch new services.
