Kia Philippines is expanding its electric vehicle portfolio with the launch of the EV3, a compact electric SUV aimed at making the brand’s battery-powered lineup more accessible as competition in the Philippine EV market intensifies.
The ACMobility subsidiary is offering the EV3 at an introductory price of P1.868 million, or P30,000 below its regular P1.898-million price. The offer includes a wall charger. Reservations opened Sept. 21, with deliveries scheduled to begin Oct. 1.
“The Kia EV3 marks an essential step as we expand our EV lineup in the Philippines,” Kia Philippines managing director Jay Lopez said. “The EV3 serves as our primary vehicle to lead the market’s shift toward electric mobility.”
Named the 2025 World Car of the Year, the EV3 brings design and technology cues from Kia’s larger EV5 and EV9 models into the compact SUV segment.
The EV3 is powered by a front-mounted electric motor producing 204 PS and 283 Newton-meters of torque, paired with a 58.3-kilowatt-hour battery. Kia claims a driving range of up to 511 kilometers under the NEDC testing standard.
Charging from 10% to 80% takes 29 minutes using a 350-kW DC fast charger, while an 11-kW AC charger takes five hours and 20 minutes.
The EV3 also features Kia’s 30-inch Triple Panoramic display and DriveWise suite of driver-assistance technologies, strengthening its technology-focused positioning in the compact SUV market.
Kia is offering five years of free preventive maintenance for purchases made until Oct. 31. The EV3 carries a five-year or 160,000-kilometer vehicle warranty and an eight-year or 160,000-kilometer high-voltage battery warranty.
With its pricing, claimed range and compact-SUV format, the EV3 gives Kia a new entry point in the Philippine electric vehicle market while broadening its lineup beyond larger EV models.
