The First Philippine Industrial Park (FPIP) in Sto. Tomas, Batangas, welcomed an international investor delegation on Sept. 11, 2026, as part of a U.S. Trade and Development Agency (USTDA)–Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) program to advance the Luzon Economic Corridor (LEC).
The group included global industry leaders, project developers, Foxconn representatives, and government officials. They toured FPIP and Collins Aerospace—one of the park’s major aerospace locators—seeing first-hand the estate’s facilities and operations.
FPIP highlighted its strategic location, solid infrastructure, skilled Filipino workforce, and integrated supplier network as key advantages for businesses.
“Investors don’t just need available land—they need an environment that already works,” said FPIP Vice President Ricky Carandang. “We keep strengthening that environment, not just adding space, so it stays ready for whoever comes next.”
Collins Aerospace, part of RTX Corporation, runs one of its largest global facilities at FPIP, making aircraft interiors for worldwide clients. It cited local talent proficiency and strong park support as central to its steady growth.
The visit formed part of broader tours across Batangas industrial parks. The LEC links Subic, Clark, Metro Manila, and Batangas to boost connectivity, build stronger supply chains, and draw investment—positioning the Philippines as a top global manufacturing and logistics hub.
Spanning 600 hectares, FPIP employs over 80,000 people across aerospace, electronics, automotive, food processing, and advanced manufacturing.
