Innovation makes InLife insurance accessible

InLife is stepping up efforts to make insurance easier to access as Filipinos increasingly turn to digital platforms for financial and everyday services.

The insurer is combining digital tools, simplified processes and new products as it responds to changing consumer expectations around life, health and retirement protection.

“We believe there is something powerful about being Filipino and protecting fellow Filipinos,” said InLife Chief Marketing Officer and Chief Bancassurance Officer Gae L. Martinez. “That shared understanding inspires us to keep finding better, simpler, and more meaningful ways to protect Filipinos throughout their lives.”

Among the company’s digital initiatives is an Automated Underwriting System designed to speed up insurance applications. InLife has also rolled out the InLife App for policy management, the Super Compass productivity platform for financial advisors, and Ella, its AI-powered digital assistant.

The company is also using product innovation to address different stages of customers’ financial lives.

InLife’s Retire Assure provides guaranteed income from age 60 up to 100. The product followed the development of the company’s Retirement Readiness Index, which measures Filipinos’ preparedness for retirement.

For younger and emerging customers, Stackbit offers stackable insurance coverage starting at ₱10, allowing users to build protection based on their needs and budgets.

InLife Global Care, meanwhile, supplements existing healthcare coverage by providing access to treatment options locally and abroad for major illnesses and medical needs.

Behind these initiatives are InLife’s Mission-Based Teams, which bring together employees from different functions to focus on specific customer needs.

After nearly 116 years in the industry, InLife continues to position innovation as a way to respond to a changing market, guided by a simple question: What do Filipinos need next?
