PNB, Luna Securities team up to widen digital PERA access for all Filipinos

The Philippine National Bank and Luna Securities Inc. have partnered to expand digital access to the Personal Equity and Retirement Account or PERA program, making retirement investing simpler and more reachable nationwide. Through PNB’s Trust Banking Group and Luna—an accredited PERA Administrator—investors can now open, manage, and redeem PNB PERA products entirely via Luna’s digital platform, no branch visit needed.

This tie-up boosts PNB’s footprint in the fast-growing digital investment market while raising awareness of PERA, the voluntary government-backed retirement savings program offering tax incentives and long-term wealth-building benefits. Jiah Santos, PNB Senior Vice President and Chief Trust Officer, said the alliance marks a major step forward in opening retirement planning to more Filipinos. “Combining PNB’s investment expertise with Luna’s digital strength makes saving for retirement far more accessible and convenient,” Santos added. Luna Securities welcomed the deal, noting it matches their shared vision of using technology to bring quality retirement solutions to more people.

Part of PNB’s broader strategy to grow through innovation and partnerships, the arrangement means easier, faster entry into tax-advantaged retirement savings for subscribers and broader participation in the country’s long-term savings sector for investors. The shared goal: help more Filipinos build toward secure financial futures.
