Mang Inasal, the grilled food brand under Jollibee Group, maintained double-digit systemwide sales growth in the first half of 2026, reporting a 13.2 percent rise following a 15.6 percent full-year increase in 2025. The steady performance underscores the brand’s enduring popularity and its growing importance within the group’s domestic portfolio.
Growth was especially strong in off-premise channels—takeout, delivery, and drive-thru—climbing at an even faster double-digit pace as customers increasingly order beyond dine-in service. Digital ordering options and consistent service across its nationwide network supported broader customer access throughout the period.
“Our proposition is built around grilled food Filipinos love, made easy to enjoy however customers prefer,” said Mike V. Castro, President of Mang Inasal. “Growth was led by our signature Ihaw-Sarap Chicken Inasal and Juicy-lambot Pork BBQ. We are also expanding how people order and introducing new menu items that match changing tastes.”
Behind the numbers, the brand has refined its marination and grilling processes to keep quality consistent across its more than 600 stores nationwide. Its standing was further recognized this year, as Brand Finance ranked Mang Inasal the strongest quick-service restaurant brand in the Philippines in its 2026 report, earning a 95.2 Brand Strength Index score and AAA+ rating.
The momentum is also drawing strong interest from potential franchise partners, signaling confidence in the brand’s broad appeal and proven operating model.
“Mang Inasal’s success shows the power of our homegrown brands and the plenty of room still to grow in the Philippines,” said Joseph Tanbuntiong, CEO of Jollibee Group Philippines and Global Jollibee Brand Head. “Backed by our group’s supply chain, quality standards, and franchise expertise, Mang Inasal is well-placed to expand further while keeping the authentic grilled flavors and experience our customers trust.”
