NLEX Corporation is carrying out pavement repairs and maintenance across the North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) and Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway (SCTEX) to improve road quality and give motorists a safer, smoother drive.
Repair work has already been finished in key areas including Marilao, Sta. Rita, Balintawak, and Tabang, while work in Bocaue remains ongoing. Additional maintenance is also being conducted in other parts of the expressway network.
The works involve milling and paving, a process where worn-out road surfaces are removed and replaced with fresh asphalt to restore good driving conditions. NLEX Corporation noted that all activities are being scheduled and managed to cause the least possible disruption to traffic.
“Regular pavement maintenance is an important part of preserving the quality and durability of our expressways. By addressing pavement wear and tear and carrying out the necessary repairs, we help maintain reliable road conditions and support safer travel for our motorists,” said Luis S. Reñon, president and general manager of NLEX Corporation.
Motorists are reminded to follow posted traffic signs, observe speed limits, and drive carefully when passing through work zones. The company added that updates on ongoing activities will continue to be shared through its official social media channels to help the public plan their trips accordingly.
