Manila, Philippines – The Land Bank of the Philippines has announced strategic partnerships with KITA Agritech Corp. and TAO Foods Co. Inc., aimed at enhancing financial access and modernization for small farmers.
This initiative is part of the bank’s ongoing commitment to empower the agricultural sector and improve food security nationwide.
In a statement, Land Bank said the collaboration will enable KITA Agritech and TAO Foods to provide essential production, technical, and marketing support to farmer organizations. The partnership will leverage digital solutions to encourage innovation within the agricultural community.
The agreements were formalized during separate signing ceremonies last week, where Land Bank president and CEO Lynette Ortiz met with KITA Agritech CEO Carlos Miguel Concio and TAO Foods chairman Julio Sy Jr.
KITA Agritech will roll out the Digital Trading Post, a platform designed to enhance inventory management and mitigate operational costs linked to natural disasters. This initiative aims to provide farmers with better tools to manage their resources effectively.
