Philippine Airlines (PAL) has teamed up with Maya, the country’s top digital banking app, to improve its Mabuhay Miles reward system, offering consumers new ways to earn and enjoy benefits. This collaboration aims to boost customer engagement through innovative enhancements in the loyalty program, with exciting changes expected this year.
Capt. Stanley K. Ng, PAL president and chief operating officer, said the partnership would strengthen both companies’ systems and directly benefit consumers by offering more rewarding experiences.
Under the partnership, users can earn entries for a chance to win Business Class tickets by spending, saving, or borrowing with Maya until 31 March this year. This initiative gives travelers the chance to win both international and domestic flights, enhancing their future travel plans.
Maya group president Shailesh Baidwan expressed confidence in the collaboration, highlighting the benefits for users who now have access to exclusive travel rewards alongside Maya’s financial services. Additionally, the partnership promises to redefine how Filipinos manage money and travel.
PAL senior vice president Anna Bengzon noted that Maya’s comprehensive products would provide passengers with a convenient way to handle payments, further enhancing the travel experience.
With these efforts, PAL and Maya are set to transform the future of travel and financial services in the Philippines, benefiting both frequent flyers and everyday consumers.
