Converge ICT Solutions Inc. has partnered with Nokia to modernize its data centers across the Philippines, a strategic move aimed at future-proofing infrastructure to support AI workloads and regulatory compliance.
Under the alliance, Converge will deploy Nokia’s Data Center Fabric solution—a combination of hardware and software powered by automation and AI—to boost network scalability, performance, and energy efficiency. Central to the solution is Nokia’s 7220 Interconnect Router (IXR) series and its SR-Linux operating system and Event-Driven Automation (EDA) platform.
Converge CEO and co-founder Dennis Anthony Uy emphasized the need to scale networks for high-performance computing and AI integration. “We’re prepping our data center networks to be designed for extreme scalability and reliability,” he said.
Paulo Martin Santos, Converge’s chief network transformation officer, highlighted the commercial edge: “Nokia’s solutions will help us prepare our infrastructure for future demands… enabling regulatory compliance and operational excellence.”
Kent Wong, VP and head of IP Networks at Nokia, said the collaboration aims to support the country’s growing data center market. “Our solutions are designed to empower data center operators, like Converge, with unmatched reliability and scalability,” he noted.
The partnership underscores Converge’s commitment to next-gen technology adoption and strengthens Nokia’s role in shaping the country’s digital infrastructure.
