Evro tops 100,000 users as EV charging network expands

Evro has surpassed 100,000 users as the digital platform expands its role in connecting Philippine electric vehicle drivers to a growing network of charging stations nationwide.

The official digital EV partner app of ACMobility’s charging network lets motorists across brands locate chargers, check availability in real time, monitor charging sessions, and make payments through a single platform.

More than 430 EV charging hubs registered with the Department of Energy are now searchable through Evro’s station finder, giving drivers greater visibility of charging options as the country’s EV market expands.

The platform has supported more than 100 EV models across multiple brands. Charging sessions conducted through Evro have also helped avoid an estimated 2,339 tons of carbon emissions, equivalent to the annual emissions of 546 gasoline-powered passenger vehicles, the company said.

The platform also connects charge point operators with a wider pool of EV users, giving them a digital channel to manage and monetize charging infrastructure.

Participating operators include ACMobility, Shell Recharge, and Gigawatt Power Inc., while connected chargers are available at major destinations such as Ayala Malls, Robinsons Land, Landers, and Starbucks.

“More than just a number, it tells us that Evro has become a meaningful part of the everyday EV journey of thousands of Filipinos, helping them find chargers, power their vehicles, and move with greater confidence,” Evro Chief Operating Officer Patrick Dela Cruz said.

The 100,000-user milestone comes as the Philippines works to expand EV adoption and charging infrastructure, with charging availability remaining a key consideration for motorists deciding whether to switch from conventional vehicles.

By bringing more chargers and operators into a single digital platform, Evro is positioning itself as part of the infrastructure behind that transition.

As the charging network grows, the challenge is shifting from simply adding chargers to making them easy to find, available when drivers need them, and simple to pay for. Evro’s growth suggests that digital convenience is becoming an increasingly important part of the EV equation.
