Filipino-Swiss developer Triconti Windkraft Group has secured spots in the Department of Energy’s fourth Green Energy Auction (GEA4) for two new wind projects in Atimonan, Quezon and Anda, Bohol.
The projects are expected to add 120–150 megawatts of wind power between 2027 and 2028—enough to supply electricity to about 153,000 to 192,000 households each year. Triconti said the developments will help cut the country’s reliance on imported fuel and boost the use of local renewable energy.
Triconti president and CEO Lila Rosenberger said the company aims not only to deliver clean power but also to create jobs, support local businesses, and fund community programs.
Under the GEA system, developers compete for fixed-rate incentives by offering bids at or below government-set reserve prices. The DOE earlier announced that GEA4 awarded a total of 10,195 MW of renewable capacity for delivery from 2026 to 2029, covering solar, floating solar, onshore wind, and hybrid energy-plus-storage projects.
Winning bidders must submit compliance documents—including performance bonds and technical studies—by December 6, 2025.
Triconti currently has more than 4,000 MW of onshore and offshore wind projects in its nationwide pipeline.
