Foundever Philippines brings solar power to Aeta school in Zambales

Foundever® in the Philippines donated solar panels and essential supplies to Judd Hendricks Memorial Aeta Integrated School in Zambales, supporting education and sustainability in an indigenous community.

The project included the installation of a commercial solar power system for the entire school, providing reliable and renewable electricity. The donation was part of Foundever’s 3G (Go Green Goal) campaign, which promotes environmental responsibility and community support.

In addition to solar power, the business process outsourcing (BPO) company provided learning and livelihood assistance. These included 38 boxes of school supplies, 140 school uniforms, 130 pairs of shoes and slippers, more than 300 kilograms of rice, food packs, cookware, emergency tools, fire extinguishers, raincoats, and clothing for students and teachers.

“This initiative shows our commitment to being a force for good by combining renewable energy with direct community support,” said Filipina Barbo, senior director of operations and site director of Foundever Pasig–Technopoint.

The solar installation is expected to lower energy costs and reduce environmental impact, while the donated supplies help meet immediate school needs. The initiative reflects Foundever Philippines’ broader sustainability efforts, which also include e-waste recycling, digital transformation, green-certified buildings, and the use of renewable energy in its offices.

Foundever recently received recognition for these efforts, including being named a Circle of Excellence Awardee for Sustainability Company of the Year at the 2025 Asia CEO Awards and one of the Top Community-Centric Companies in Asia by the ACES 2025 Awards.
