Movem, the e-mobility arm of Manila Electric Co. (Meralco), has teamed up with Rockwell Property Management Corp. to launch five electric vehicle (EV) charging stations at Edades Tower and Edades Suites in Rockwell Center.
The rollout marks a key step in integrating sustainable mobility into Rockwell’s master-planned communities, positioning the upscale Makati development at the forefront of future-ready urban living.
The Movem-owned and operated stations are equipped with 22kW AC chargers and are available exclusively to residents of Edades Tower and Edades Suites, Rockwell Club members, and retail patrons within the property.
Backed by Meralco’s distribution expertise, the charging facilities aim to deliver reliable, seamless service for EV users.
Through Movem’s ChargeM mobile app, customers can view real-time station availability, manage charging sessions, and complete cashless payments—embedding EV charging into what executives describe as the elevated Rockwell lifestyle.
“The launch of our electric vehicle charging stations, in partnership with Movem, is an important step in strengthening our sustainable and future-ready initiatives,” said Valerie Jane L. Soliven, chairman of Edades by Rockwell Condominium Corporation. “As electric mobility grows, it’s important that we provide the right infrastructure while maintaining the quality and convenience our developments are known for.”
Movem president and chief executive officer Raymond B. Ravelo said the partnership represents more than infrastructure deployment.
“What we have here is a symbol of sustainable and meaningful progress… built on trust, shared purpose, and innovation,” he said.
Spun off from eSakay Inc., Movem positions itself as a sustainable mobility master planner, offering end-to-end EV and charging solutions to accelerate electric vehicle adoption across the Philippines.
