Globe Telecom has stepped up its support for Filipino customers in the Middle East, rolling out free roaming services and financial relief to ensure they remain connected during the region’s evolving situation.
The company is automatically granting a complimentary roaming package to eligible Globe Prepaid, TM, and Postpaid users in Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Qatar, and Kuwait. The package includes 1GB of all-access data, 15 minutes of calls, and 15 SMS credits valid for seven days. No registration is required, and qualified customers will receive a confirmation message once the benefit is activated.
To access the free service, customers must connect to Globe’s designated roaming partners in each country.
In Iran, Globe is extending additional assistance through load support and bill adjustments to help offset roaming expenses. Account credits will be applied based on usage while connected to partner networks such as MTN Irancell.
“This is about making sure our customers are not cut off from their families and vital services when they need them most,” said Paula Rivera-Castillo, Head of Globe International Business, emphasizing the company’s commitment to keeping Filipinos abroad safely and reliably connected.
Globe said it continues to closely monitor developments in the region and coordinate with international partners to deliver timely support and dependable connectivity to affected subscribers.
