DITO Telecommunity is offering free incoming calls to help Overseas Filipinos and their families stay connected during the ongoing conflict in the Middle East.
The telecom firm said the initiative supports the Philippine government’s efforts to keep Filipinos abroad and their loved ones in the country connected and informed during the crisis.
From March 9 to 13, 2026, DITO subscribers who are roaming in selected Middle East countries will receive a one-time allocation of up to five minutes of free incoming calls from DITO numbers in the Philippines. Regular roaming call rates will apply after the free five minutes.
The free call support covers Filipinos in Bahrain, Kuwait, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Jordan, and Lebanon.
DITO president and CEO Ernesto R. Alberto said the company stands with the government in supporting and protecting Filipinos overseas. He added that the company remains committed to connecting Filipino communities through reliable communication services.
Meanwhile, chief commercial officer Adel Tamano said access to communication is crucial during difficult times, especially for families checking on each other’s safety.
DITO said the program reflects its commitment to supporting Filipinos worldwide and ensuring families stay connected during emergencies.
Customers who need help placing calls may visit DITO Experience Stores at SM Megamall and SM North EDSA.
