TPB, AIM graduate first batch of tourism market intelligence program

The Tourism Promotions Board (TPB) Philippines, in partnership with the Asian Institute of Management (AIM), held a graduation ceremony for the first batch of its Market Intelligence Learning and Training Program (MILTP) at AIM’s Fuller Hall.

The program, part of TPB’s membership initiative, aims to support tourism stakeholders by improving their marketing capabilities and helping grow the industry sustainably.

A total of 130 TPB members and employees completed the course, which ran from October 2025 to January 2026 through a mix of online and onsite classes.

The MILTP focused on teaching participants how to analyze market data and use it to make better business decisions. Topics included customer segmentation, demand forecasting, and data visualization.

Participants also worked on final projects applying what they learned, guided by experts from AIM, the Philippine Institute for Development Studies, and data science professionals.

TPB and AIM officials said the program helps tourism stakeholders adapt to changing market conditions and remain competitive by using data-driven strategies.

Following the success of the first batch, TPB announced that another run of the training program will be conducted later this year.
