Leading HMO provider Intellicare is expanding its nationwide footprint to make healthcare more accessible to employees and businesses beyond major urban centers.
The move aims to widen coverage across the Philippines, particularly in provincial and emerging business hubs where medical access has historically been limited.
As companies increasingly prioritize employee wellness and financial security, Intellicare’s growing network allows employers to offer dependable medical coverage for workers and their families.
Regional hubs in Calamba, Bacolod, Cebu, and Davao, along with satellite offices in Angeles, Legazpi, Iloilo, Dumaguete, Cagayan de Oro, Kidapawan, and General Santos, are helping bridge gaps in healthcare access outside Metro Manila.
Employers report that stronger HMO benefits improve morale, engagement, and productivity. “It gives our employees peace of mind—not just for themselves, but for their families,” said Apple Ann Morales of Metro Dumaguete Water.
Melco Factory Automation Philippines also noted that comprehensive HMO plans have become a key factor in attracting and retaining talent.
Intellicare now serves nearly 1.2 million members, with 3,000 corporate accounts and access to around 69,000 doctors and specialists nationwide. Beyond traditional coverage, the company offers wellness programs and digital healthcare services, reinforcing a holistic approach to employee health.
The expansion pushed by Intellicare reflects a broader trend in the Philippine corporate sector: employers increasingly view healthcare as a strategic investment. By making medical services more accessible outside major cities, HMO providers not only support workforce well-being but also contribute to more resilient local communities.
“Collaboration with employers is helping create healthier employees, stronger organizations, and more resilient communities nationwide,” said Intellicare president Jeremy Matti, underscoring the dual benefits of accessibility and organizational performance.
