Globe has launched a new onsite distribution operations (OSDO) hub in Barangay Mahabang Parang, Angono, Rizal, bringing its broadband services, prepaid products, and direct customer support closer to residents and nearby communities. Located in the province known as the Art Capital of the Philippines, this facility serves as a local touchpoint designed to make reliable internet connectivity more accessible for households, students, remote workers, and small business owners who depend on stable connections for work, learning, and daily digital tasks.
According to Jil De Castro, Globe’s territory business head, the expansion of these neighborhood hubs is part of the company’s commitment to making affordable internet available to more Filipinos as digital lifestyles become more widespread. By establishing service points outside major cities, Globe aims to deliver faster assistance, greater convenience, and stronger engagement with the communities it serves. The Angono hub handles applications for Globe At Home plans, prepaid transactions, product inquiries, and community programs, operating daily from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
The facility was officially opened in a ceremony attended by company officials, partner representatives, and local barangay leaders led by Captain Melencio Villa.
This development improves access to essential digital services for growing residential areas in Rizal, bridges the connectivity gap between urban centers and provincial communities, and supports local economic and educational activities through reliable internet and community-focused programs.
