Leading Philippine food and beverage firm Fly Ace Corp. has partnered with top renewable energy provider First Gen to power its operations with clean energy, supporting its sustainability goals.
Finalized in April 2026, the deal covers roughly 1,420 kilowatts of power demand for Fly Ace’s offices in Pasay City, plus sites in Manila and Sta. Rosa, Laguna. The company will source electricity directly from First Gen’s Unified Leyte Geothermal Plants.
Fly Ace president Lucio Cochanco Jr. noted the move lets the business grow responsibly, cut its carbon footprint, and use energy more efficiently. Established over 50 years ago, Fly Ace owns popular brands including Jolly and Doña Elena, and distributes global names like Lotus Biscoff.
First Gen chief customer engagement officer Carlo Vega said the partnership supports Fly Ace’s decarbonization and efficiency targets. First Gen currently operates 31 hydro, geothermal, solar and wind facilities with 1,700 MW total capacity, and aims to expand its renewable portfolio to 9 GW by 2030 through projects in the Philippines and Indonesia.
This collaboration shows how major local consumer goods players are shifting to clean power, advancing national sustainability efforts while reducing operational environmental impact.
