Maya, the country’s top digital financial platform, has partnered with the Commission on Filipinos Overseas (CFO) to modernize how government services are delivered to Filipinos living abroad through fast, secure digital payments.
Under the new tie-up, overseas Filipinos and their families will soon pay CFO fees using credit or debit cards, QR codes, and e-wallets. The goal is to remove hassles and make public services easy to access no matter where they are in the world.
The CFO looks after more than six million non-resident Filipinos—including migrants, dual citizens, and their families—helping them stay connected to the country and contribute to national progress. CFO Secretary Dante “Klink” Ang II said the collaboration will make services faster and more convenient, while opening doors to deeper economic links between overseas Filipinos and the Philippines.
For Maya Group president Shailesh Baidwan, the partnership backs the government’s push for easier transactions and wider digital access. It is part of Maya’s broader work to upgrade public services and expand financial tools that improve people’s financial health.
This also builds on Maya’s earlier support for overseas Filipinos, such as rebates on transfers and cashback on mobile top-ups. As the country’s first fully integrated digital bank and payments platform, Maya continues to grow services that help users save, pay, and manage their money better.
The partnership advances government digitalization, cuts transaction hurdles, and strengthens economic ties between the Philippines and its global workforce, while expanding inclusive financial access.
