Leading on-demand delivery platform Lalamove has officially launched in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, marking a major step in its Middle East expansion and bringing familiar services closer to Filipinos living and working in the Kingdom. The move supports Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 plan to diversify the non-oil economy and build world-class logistics, while aligning with the National Transport and Logistics Strategy to turn the country into a global logistics hub.
Founded in 2013, Lalamove connects users with drivers via its app, offering flexible, affordable delivery options for small businesses and a range of vehicle types from sedans to trucks. The service helps over 1.7 million Saudi SMEs cut logistics costs and focus on growth, while giving drivers flexible work schedules—including a launch offer of zero commissions so they keep all their earnings, plus extra bonuses and referral rewards.
This follows earlier entries into Dubai and Berlin, and Lalamove Philippines managing director Djon Nacario noted the local team is proud to share its experience with the new market, even as the company continues supporting Filipino SMEs and drivers with similar flexible, low-cost services at home.
