Harbor Star leads PSE weekly gainers, Swift Foods slides

Harbor Star Shipping Services Inc. led the Philippine Stock Exchange’s (PSE) weekly price gainers, while Swift Foods Inc. posted the steepest decline, according to the latest PSE market data.

Harbor Star, or TUGS, rose 35 percent to P1.43 for the week, while its four-week gain reached 34 percent. The PSE data listed no disclosure for the stock.

Alsons Consolidated Resources Inc. followed with a 30 percent weekly increase to P1.04. Its four-week gain was even stronger at 49 percent, the biggest four-week increase among the top five weekly gainers. No disclosure was listed.

Zeus Holdings Inc. climbed 27 percent to P0.079 for the week and gained 44 percent over four weeks. It carried disclosure reference CR06207-2026.

Philippine Realty and Holdings Corp. rose 27 percent to P0.107, with its four-week gain at 12.6 percent. No disclosure was listed.

East Coast Vulcan Mining Corp. gained 21 percent to P0.345 and advanced 33 percent over four weeks. Its disclosure reference was CR06318-2026.

Based on the four-week performance of the top weekly gainers, Alsons led with 49 percent, followed by Zeus at 44 percent, Harbor Star at 34 percent, East Coast Vulcan at 33 percent, and Philippine Realty at 12.6 percent.

On the losing side, Swift Foods plunged 16 percent to P0.056, the largest weekly decline among the stocks provided. It had a disclosure.

LFM Properties Corp. fell 13 percent to P0.021, with no disclosure listed, while Cirtek Holdings Philippines Corp. dropped 12 percent to P1.21. Cirtek had a disclosure.

Primex Corp. declined 11 percent to P1, with no disclosure listed. ABS-CBN Corp. rounded out the top five losers, falling 10 percent to P3.87. It had multiple disclosures.

Overall, two of the five biggest weekly gainers had disclosures, while three had none. Among the five biggest losers, three had disclosure references and two had no disclosure listed.
