VinFast is adding 13 Philippine automotive dealers to accelerate its electric vehicle rollout, with the partnerships set to bring 27 new showrooms across the country as the Vietnamese automaker works toward a 60-dealer network this year.
The company said it signed memoranda of understanding with the local partners covering markets across Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao, expanding its sales and after-sales footprint as it seeks to make EVs more accessible to Filipino consumers.
The new locations will strengthen VinFast’s presence in major markets such as Metro Manila and Cebu while extending its reach to Cagayan de Oro, Tacloban and Subic Bay.
VinFast Southeast Asia CEO Antonio Zara said the Philippines remains a key market in the company’s regional and global growth strategy.
“The Philippines is one of the key markets in VinFast’s long-term growth strategy in the region and globally,” Zara said.
He said the company was building a broader platform covering vehicles, services, charging infrastructure and other parts of the EV ecosystem, with local dealers expected to help speed up market expansion.
The 13 partners are Elite North Auto Cars, MG Gateway Mantrade, Grand Canyon Multi Holdings, Britannica United Motors, VF Auto Sto Tomas, GR8 Marketing Motors, ARCMA Motors, Autonomics Motor, Gershom Car Trading, Areza Motor Sales, Central Auto Resources, Autolink Global Motors and Greenport Mobility.
VinFast said the partners’ existing automotive distribution experience and regional networks would allow it to expand customer access and after-sales support more quickly.
The dealership push will be complemented by further investment in charging and service infrastructure through VinFast’s V-Green charging unit and local partners.
The expansion forms part of VinFast’s broader Southeast Asian strategy, with the company seeking to build the distribution, service and charging network needed to support wider EV adoption in the Philippines.
