PlayTime Entertainment has partnered with the National Collegiate Athletic Association of the Philippines (NCAA), marking a major expansion beyond its core entertainment industry and a significant step into the broader sports arena. This collaboration underscores the company’s drive to connect with young audiences and advance youth development through athletics.
Company President Roy Alcid described the partnership as a key milestone and an extension of PlayTime’s dedication to youth-focused initiatives. “It’s a milestone for PlayTime as we enter a new space in sports and expand beyond entertainment. It allows us to live out our purpose: Born for Happiness — bringing joy, connection, and shared experiences to a passionate community,” Alcid stated. He further explained that alliances outside the entertainment sector enable PlayTime to enter meaningful cultural spaces while engaging new groups, including students, alumni, and sports fans. Alcid also expressed hope that the partnership would shine a light on the personal journeys of young athletes, going beyond game statistics and competition results.
The collaboration also reflects PlayTime Entertainment’s strong belief in the unifying power of sports, according to company spokesperson Adela Marshall. “We believe in the power of sports to create connections and shared experiences,” Marshall said. “In this season of NCAA, we hope to bring not just brand presence but a sense of sportsmanship and worthwhile experiences,” she added. Marshall noted that PlayTime is eager to participate in the season’s competitions and witness the stories that develop throughout the event. “We look forward to being part of the excitement, the competition, and the stories that will unfold throughout the season,” she remarked.
For PlayTime Entertainment, this partnership signals more than new market reach—it aligns business growth with meaningful engagement across youth and community sectors, strengthening the company’s position as a brand invested in shared experiences and development beyond traditional entertainment boundaries.
