Manila Water delivers emergency water to flood-hit Pangasinan under state of calamity

Amid a State of Calamity in Pangasinan from widespread flooding, Manila Water’s Calasiao Water, North Luzon Water, and Manila Water Foundation acted fast to supply safe water to Calasiao, Malasiqui, and Sta. Barbara evacuees. Through the AGAPAY: WASH in Emergencies program, 350 five-gallon water containers were distributed—250 to Calasiao, 50 each to Sta. Barbara and Malasiqui. Calasiao Water also deployed two 1-cubic-meter tanks to a center sheltering 1,750 people. Calasiao Administrator Melvie Agustin lauded the prompt aid, noting support arrived even before a formal request. This effort reflects Manila Water’s crisis commitment; the team stands ready to assist ongoing recovery and ensure continued safe water access.
