The collaboration enables Meralco customers to settle their electricity bills at over 4,000 7-Eleven CLiQQ Kiosks nationwide, with the added benefit of real-time posting via Bayad, eliminating the typical 24-hour delay.

Del Monte Pacific Ltd. announced on Friday that it has successfully completed the acquisition of a 14 percent indirect stake in Agro Tech Foods Ltd. (ATFL), a publicly listed Indian food company. This move is part of Del Monte Pacific’s ongoing restructuring of its investment in Del Monte India.

Globe Telecom, the telecommunications and fintech arm of the Ayala Group, reported a slight dip in its net income for 2024, posting P24.3 billion—down 1 percent from the previous year’s P24.6 billion--due primarily to fewer sale and leaseback deals and one-off gains from tower sales, as well as higher depreciation costs and non-operating charges. 

Robinsons Retail Holdings Inc., the retail arm of the Gokongwei Group, announced a surge in its 2024 net income, which skyrocketed to P10.3 billion—more than double the P4.1 billion recorded in the previous year. The sharp rise was largely fueled by a one-off gain from the merger of Robinsons Bank with the Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI), alongside sustained performance across its core retail operations.
