Treasury bill yields continued to climb at the auction Monday, with inflation in February expected to rise after slowing down in January.
Demand, however, remained strong, with total bids reaching P36.9 billion, over two times the offered amount of P15 billion.
The Bureau of the Treasury awarded the amount in full, with yields rising just slightly.
Yield on the 91-day treasury bill rose to 5.778 percent from the previous week’s 5.710 while the 182-day bill climbed to 5.995 percent from 5.971 percent.
The 364-day treasury bill saw its average rate rise to 6.100 percent from 6.085 percent.
