MerryMart launches largest stand-alone supermarket in Tarlac

MerryMart Grocery opened on Thursday its largest stand-alone supermarket at Ayala Cresendo Estate in Tarlac, its latest response to the rising demand for accessible grocery options across the country.

The Tarlac supermarket covers 4,032 square meters and sets a new standard for retail in the area. The launch of the Tarlac supermarket is part of MerryMart’s broader plan to expand its store network.

MerryMart will soon open additional branches in Antique, Leyte, Negros Occidental, Laguna, South Kotabato, Cavite, and Misamis Occidental. This rapid growth strategy underscores the company’s ambition to dominate the retail market.

MerryMart said it isn’t relying solely on organic growth to fuel its expansion but is also focusing on acquiring companies that align with its goals. This proactive approach aims to strengthen its portfolio and enhance customer offerings in the shortest possible time.

With this latest opening, MerryMart is well-positioned to deliver a diverse range of products and services, meeting the evolving needs of Filipino consumers. The company’s commitment to quality and customer satisfaction will likely drive further success in the retail sector.

MerryMart is a listed, consumer-focused retail company engaged in operating supermarkets and household essentials stores. It operates three brick-and-mortar retail formats alongside an online wholesale platform. At the end of 2023, MerryMart had 126 operational stores nationwide.
