Cavinti, Laguna – In a bid to enhance environmental awareness among the youth, Blueleaf Energy Philippines, in collaboration with NKS Solar One, has initiated the Eco-Brigada Poster Making Contest at Cavinti Integrated National High School. This competition is part of the company’s corporate social responsibility campaign aimed at inspiring students to engage with sustainability topics, such as renewable energy and waste management.
Jason Gavina, head of community relations and marketing at Blueleaf, emphasized the importance of instilling a culture of sustainability in local communities, stating, “We are committed to upholding the highest environmental, social, governance and safety standards.”
Dr. Erickson Barrios, principal of the school, highlighted the initiative as a valuable opportunity for students to creatively express their understanding of energy conservation, noting, “We’re proud to be part of a program that encourages critical thinking and empowers students to advocate for a sustainable future.”
