Bossjob, the rapidly expanding AI-powered recruitment platform, celebrated a key milestone with the successful conclusion of its inaugural Kasanggayahan HR Summit at Villa Isabel Hotel. The event, which attracted hundreds of participants—including HR professionals, MSME owners, and local government leaders—was a strategic collaboration supported by the city and provincial governments of Sorsogon, alongside the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Sorsogon, and Sorsogon City BPLO chief Rodel Ferreras.
The summit’s significance extended beyond its impressive turnout. Ma. Lourdes Pancho, provincial director of DTI Sorsogon, commended Bossjob’s expansion into the province, highlighting its transformative potential for local MSMEs. “Bossjob’s entry is a game-changer for our business sector,” said Pancho. “DTI is fully committed to supporting initiatives that empower MSMEs through streamlined, efficient recruitment processes.”
A key focus of the summit was the vital role Human Resources (HR) plays in business growth. Acclaimed HR expert and founder of Philippine HR Group, Darwin Rivers, delivered an insightful keynote address on the “4 E’s” of employee management: Engagement, Enablement, Satisfaction, and Experience. Rivers emphasized that while engagement is often prioritized, organizations must also attend to employee enablement, satisfaction, and overall experience to drive sustainable growth. His holistic approach to HR resonated deeply with the audience, urging HR professionals to rethink their strategies for better employee retention and productivity.
Bossjob’s role in advancing MSMEs was at the heart of the summit. Feby Joy Llosala-Luneza, growth director at Bossjob, expressed gratitude for the strong local partnerships that made the event possible. Michelle Ayo, Bossjob’s Sales Manager for Expansion, introduced the platform’s AI-driven, cost-effective solutions designed to revolutionize recruitment for small and medium enterprises.
“Our mission is to bridge the gap between employers and job seekers efficiently, helping businesses like those in Sorsogon grow and thrive,” said Llosala-Luneza.
The event underscored the importance of innovation in HR practices and recruitment, particularly for MSMEs in regional areas. The Kasanggayahan HR Summit not only fostered collaboration among stakeholders but also positioned Bossjob as a key player in driving economic development in the province. As Bossjob continues to expand its reach, the summit served as a clear signal of the company’s commitment to empowering businesses in the Philippines’ vibrant MSME sector.
With continued support from government partners and business leaders, Bossjob is set to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of recruitment across the country.
