Smart Communications, Inc. (Smart) has partnered with global technology leaders GSMA, Amdocs, Huawei, and Amazon Web Services (AWS) to drive its AI transformation, enhancing its network infrastructure and customer services.
The collaboration with GSMA’s Open Gateway Initiative will allow Smart to open its network to third-party developers through standardized APIs, improving security and enabling seamless digital services. Meanwhile, Amdocs will help Smart leverage AI-driven personalization for real-time, tailored experiences targeted at tech-savvy, younger consumers, fostering customer loyalty.
Huawei’s involvement focuses on modernizing Smart’s core network with cloud-native technologies and AI automation, preparing the network for 5G SA and next-gen services. AWS will further bolster Smart’s AI and data capabilities, enabling more efficient data processing and deeper customer insights through machine learning and predictive analytics.
Smart chief operating officer, Anastacio Martirez, said that these strategic alliances will enhance customer-centric services, speed up service delivery, and future-proof the company’s network for emerging demands, positioning Smart as a leader in AI-powered telecom.
