Pryce Corp. posts 48 percent profit surge on Strong LPG, Industrial Gas Sales

In a regulator filing on Monday, the company credited the income surge to an 8 percent rise in LPG retail sales volume across Visayas and Mindanao, underscoring the critical role of its core energy business in the company’s growth. Consolidated revenue likewise increased by 14.24 percent to ₱5.36 billion from ₱4.69 billion, with LPG accounting for 93.03 percent of total revenue.

Pryce also highlighted the robust expansion of its industrial gas segment, with volume sales soaring by 66.2 percent year-on-year following intensified marketing of its oxygen products. This momentum was supported by the full operation of its liquid oxygen facility (LOF) in Cagayan de Oro City.

“The company believes that its industrial gas business can contribute ₱400 million to ₱600 million annually to net income over the next two to three years, provided it achieves 90 percent to 95 percent of the LOF’s capacity,” Pryce said in the statement.

Apart from its core gas operations, Pryce Corp. continues to diversify through its network of 13 memorial parks in Mindanao and a subsidiary engaged in the wholesale and distribution of private-label multivitamins and generic over-the-counter drugs.

The results signal strengthening market positioning and revenue diversification for Pryce Corp., with both energy and non-energy segments playing increasingly strategic roles in its long-term growth.
