The Tanauan City Government has recognized First Philippine Industrial Park (FPIP) and 10 of its locators as among the city’s top business and real property taxpayers for 2025.
City data showed that FPIP and its locators contributed nearly P700 million in taxes, making up a significant portion of Tanauan’s annual revenue.
FPIP vice president Ricky Carandang said the recognition reflects the strong partnership between the industrial park, its tenant companies, and the city government, adding that they remain committed to supporting local growth.
Several manufacturing firms inside FPIP ranked among the top taxpayers, including First Philec Inc., PMFTC Inc., Astemo Philippines Corporation, Kerry Manufacturing (Philippines), Inc., and Uni-President (Philippines) Corp..
FPIP and its expansion site, First Industrial Township, Inc., were also listed among the top real property taxpayers, along with locators such as Canon Business Machines (Philippines), Inc., Shimano (Philippines) Inc., and WCL Ventures Development, Inc..
Companies including Honda Philippines, Inc. and Nestlé Philippines, Inc. were recognized in both business and real property tax categories.
Mayor Sonny Perez Collantes highlighted the private sector’s role in helping fund public services such as healthcare, education, infrastructure, and livelihood programs.
FPIP, established in 1996, is a Philippine Economic Zone Authority-registered industrial zone in Batangas. It hosts more than 150 global manufacturing firms and employs over 80,000 workers.
