Globe is the only Philippine telco and one of just two local firms included in TIME and Statista’s 2026 World’s Most Sustainable Companies list. This marks its second straight year on the ranking.
Selected from over 5,000 global firms, the list picks the top 750 based on 20+ metrics covering operations, transparency, and environmental and social responsibility.
The honor shows Filipino businesses can match global standards for sustainability and good governance, said Globe CEO Carl Cruz. The company cut Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 15.13 percent and Scope 3 emissions by 9.49 percent year-on-year, and now runs about 700 sites on renewable energy—with a 3,000-site target by 2028.
