Metro Pacific Water (MPW) has broken ground on a P70-million water transmission project in San Jose del Monte, Bulacan.
Set for completion by December 2026, the scheme will move an extra 15 million liters of treated water daily to serve around 15,000 more households.
It comes as the firm acts to fix aging facilities, cut high water losses, and cope with El Niño’s impact on Angat Dam.
MPW, which took over interim operations in June, is also carrying out urgent repairs and tapping alternative sources to maintain supplies.
