The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) on Monday recognized 14 outstanding institutional partners from its Head Office during the 2026 Outstanding BSP Stakeholders Appreciation Ceremony. The awardees were honored for their key contributions to financial inclusion, financial literacy promotion, and wider access to retirement savings via the Personal Equity Retirement Account (PERA). They also helped advance digital payments through the QR PH system and the introduction of tap-to-pay turnstiles for MRT‑3 commuters.
The BSP further cited these partners for supporting safe and efficient currency circulation through the Cash Service Alliance, joining efforts against counterfeiting, fraud, and money laundering, and contributing to policy development.
“The bayanihan spirit is alive and well among you. No single institution can build a strong financial system on its own. But, shoulder to shoulder, we can achieve more than any of us can do alone,” said BSP governor Eli M. Remolona, Jr.
BSP deputy governor Bernadette Romulo‑Puyat also expressed gratitude for the partners’ continued support. “Your efforts remind us that a strong financial system is not measured by indicators alone. It is measured by the opportunities it creates, the confidence it builds, and the better lives it helps make possible,” she added.
The recognized institutional partners are UnionBank of the Philippines, ATRAM Trust Corporation, BPI Direct BanKo, Inc. (A Savings Bank), BDO Unibank, Inc., Bank of the Philippine Islands, the Department of the Interior and Local Government – Bureau of Local Government Development, the Department of Transportation – Automated Fare Collection System Project Office, the Armed Forces of the Philippines, the US Department of Homeland Security – Homeland Security Investigations, the Department of Justice Task Force on Financial Fraud – National Prosecution Service, the IT and Business Process Association of the Philippines, the Semiconductor and Electronics Industries in the Philippines Foundation, Inc., DragonFi Securities, Inc., and BDO Foundation.
Earlier on July 30, 2026, the BSP honored outstanding partners from North Luzon. Similar recognition ceremonies are scheduled to take place in South Luzon, the Visayas, and Mindanao.
