Manila Water Co. Inc. is spending P833 million in Rizal province this year on 23 mainline extension and individualization projects.
Once completed, the projects will bring better water quality, pressure and supply to a total of 45,205 families in the province.
Eleven mainline extension projects will be done in several municipalities and in Antipolo City. So-called individualization projects will also be done at the Town and Country Executive Village also in Antipolo and Aurora Subdivision in Angono.
The projects require the extension of the water network and construction of new facilities even in the highest and farthest parts of Rizal.
Manila Water said that last year alone, the uitility installed 33,070 new water service connections translating to 165,350 families who now enjoy 24×7 water supply and quality water and sanitation services.
Manila Water’s domestic connections total 1,095,143 as at end-2022.
Manila Water serves customers in Makati, Pasig, Pateros, Marikina, Mandaluyong, San Juan, Taguig, some parts of Quezon City and Manila; and several towns in Rizal province that include Taytay, Teresa, Angono, Antipolo, Baras, Binangonan, Cainta, San Mateo and Rodriguez.
