The Philippine Airlines (PAL) and the Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) unveiled a brand new Passenger Transit Lounge at Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 1.
The transit lounge – located at the pre-departure area – is open 24 hours daily and is adjacent to the OFW Lounge.
The lounge provides a comfortable and relaxing space for passengers with connecting flights as well as a suitable holding area for inadmissible passengers excluded by the Bureau of Immigration.
Under the partnership agreement, PAL provides for lounge amenities such as comfortable seats, charging stations, and shower facilities.
“Our working partnership with the MIAA on this much-needed project will ensure the comfort and convenience of passengers traveling through the Manila gateway,” PAL president and chief operating officer, Capt. Stanley K. Ng, said.
PAL always advocates collaboration with industry partners. Together, we can do things better,” he added.
The country’s only full-service legacy carrier serves 40 international and 32 domestic destinations.
