The Philippine Airlines (PAL) is making holiday travel more affordable with a special fare promotion for flights between Manila, Hong Kong, and Taipei. In a bid to attract holidaymakers, the Lucio Tan-led airline said travelers may book flights to and from these popular destinations for as low as USD40 one-way starting 19 November.
For those looking to fly from Manila to Hong Kong, fares start at just USD40 one-way and USD80 for a roundtrip. Conversely, flights from Hong Kong to Manila are available from USD310 one-way and USD620 roundtrip. Meanwhile, passengers traveling between Manila and Taipei may secure one-way fares starting from USD50, or USD100 roundtrip. Flights from Taipei to Manila are priced from TWD1,590 one-way and TWD3,180 roundtrip.
These fares come with a range of perks, including seat selection, up to 7kilos of carry-on luggage, and in-flight meals. The airline emphasizes that the promotion is exclusive to PAL-operated flights and tailored for travelers who prefer to travel light, avoiding extra fees for checked baggage. However, passengers may opt to add checked baggage for an additional charge if needed.
Hong Kong and Taipei remain two of the most sought-after destinations in the region, offering rich cultural experiences, vibrant city life, and exceptional shopping and dining. Manila, as the business hub of the Philippines, serves as the ideal gateway for international travelers seeking to explore the country’s many holiday destinations, with convenient connections to the rest of the archipelago via PAL’s extensive domestic network.
The airline’s limited-time offer is expected to be a hit among budget-conscious travelers looking to make the most of the holiday season without breaking the bank.
