The collaboration will focus on outreach activities both domestically and internationally, including virtual roadshows and roundtable discussions designed to engage international investors.
In addition, the two organizations will work together to offer training programs for investor relations professionals in the Philippines. This initiative is part of a broader effort to raise awareness of the PSE, encourage discussions on market developments, and explore potential innovations in the capital markets.
Ramon Monzon, PSE president and CEO, emphasized the importance of the collaboration in advancing the growth of the country’s capital markets, stating that the initiative will help amplify the growth and sustainability efforts of listed companies, while attracting greater global interest.
Bing Li, Bloomberg’s head of Asia Pacific, highlighted the significance of the Philippine market’s increasing openness, noting that it signals a growing opportunity for global investors. He expressed confidence that the initiative would spark important conversations on transparency and data-sharing, helping local firms connect with institutional investors worldwide.
