Safran Helicopter Engines, the world’s leading manufacturer of helicopter engines and a subsidiary of France-based Safran Group, has officially appointed INAEC Aviation Corp. as its authorized network partner in the Philippines.
Under the partnership, INAEC will provide engine maintenance support for Safran-powered aircraft operated by the Philippine Coast Guard and Philippine National Police. The move reinforces Safran’s service network in Southeast Asia and marks a key milestone for INAEC’s growth in the aviation support sector.
The partnership follows successful collaboration in early 2024 when INAEC facilitated a Support-By-The-Hour (SBH®) agreement between a client and Safran Helicopter Engines. According to Safran Asia Front Office director See Kah Meng, INAEC’s qualification and alignment with Safran’s culture of safety and best practices were instrumental in finalizing the deal in May 2025.
“For more than two decades, INAEC has relied on the proven reliability of Safran engines,” INAEC said in a statement, adding that the partnership would help ensure the Philippines’ air assets operate at the highest standards.
Safran Helicopter Engines, formerly Turbomeca, has produced over 75,000 engines and serves more than 2,500 customers in 155 countries.
