Mobile services provider Smart Communications, Inc. is strengthening its support for Philippine sports by livestreaming top volleyball and basketball events through PusoP.com, a free digital platform for local and international sports.
Kicking off the lineup is the Shakey’s Super League Preseason Tournament, a collegiate volleyball competition featuring teams from the UAAP and NCAA. The tournament runs from September 20 to October at the Rizal Memorial Coliseum and PlayTime Filoil Centre, with all matches streamed live on PusoP.com.
Starting September 21, volleyball fans can also catch the Maharlika Pilipinas Volleyball Association (MPVA) league, founded by Manny Pacquiao, exclusively on the platform. The MPVA showcases city-based teams from across the country.
Basketball fans are also in for a treat with the FIBA 3×3 Manila Challenger, set for September 20–21 at Ayala Malls Manila Bay. The international event will feature top local and global 3×3 teams, streamed live and free on PusoP.com. The tournament is presented by Smart and the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas (SBP).
The initiative is supported by Smart Sports, Smart, and KiQ, highlighting their shared commitment to grassroots and collegiate sports development.
“Whether it’s volleyball or basketball, we want to make sure fans never miss a moment—wherever they are,” said Jude Turcuato, Head of Sports at PLDT and Smart.
This is part of Smart’s broader push to enhance customer experience by providing front-row digital access to premier sports content.
