    IMI consolidates China operations in Pingshan

    Integrated Micro-Electronics Inc. (IMI), one of the world’s leading electronics manufacturing solutions providers, has completed the transfer of its Kuichong manufacturing operations to its nearby facility in Pingshan, Shenzhen. The move is part of IMI’s broader strategy to streamline its China footprint and boost operational efficiency.

    Final production activities at IMI Kuichong has wrapped, with full integration into the Pingshan facility expected over the coming weeks. IMI emphasized that the transition will be carefully managed to ensure continuity of service, with minimal disruption to key customer accounts.

    “This strategic consolidation allows us to maximize capacity utilization at Pingshan and better align with evolving customer requirements and market trends,” the company said in a statement.

    By centralizing its operations in Pingshan, IMI aims to enhance cost efficiency, strengthen supply chain logistics, and improve service delivery for global clients across automotive, industrial, medical, and power electronics sectors.

    The move underscores IMI’s commitment to adapt to market shifts while maintaining world-class standards in high-reliability electronics manufacturing. As geopolitical and supply chain dynamics continue to evolve, optimizing operational hubs in key markets like China becomes even more critical.
