The Clark community gathered at Clark Global City’s West Aeropark on Monday to celebrate the Clark Moon Festival 2025, marking the Mid-Autumn Festival with cultural performances and a reaffirmation of partnerships aimed at driving the region’s development.
Now in its second year, the festival carried the theme “Light the Skies and Celebrate Partnerships”, underscoring the collaborative efforts among government agencies, private investors, and local communities in transforming Clark into a world-class hub for aviation, commerce, culture, and tourism.
The event was jointly organized by the Clark International Airport Corporation (CIAC), Clark Development Corporation (CDC), Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA), Clark Global City, Aeropark Development Philippines Inc., New Asya Pacific Foundation, First Clark Hotel and Residences, Mabuhay Studios, and the Gemik Clark Unlimited Sports Club.
CIAC president and CEO Jojit Alcazar said the celebration serves not only as a cultural event but also as a recognition of the partnerships that fuel inclusive growth in the region.
“By lighting the skies together, we strengthen the bonds that drive inclusive growth, foster investor confidence, and ensure that Clark’s transformation into a world-class hub for aviation and commerce is matched by a community-driven spirit of progress and shared prosperity,” Alcazar said.
The program featured traditional Mid-Autumn Festival elements such as a giant mooncake, a lantern lighting ceremony, and cultural performances by the Pampanga State Agricultural University (PSAU) Imago Dei Chorale, PSAU La Granja Model Dance, and Lahing Mananayaw. The event also showcased Filipino-Chinese and Korean arts.
Organizers said the annual celebration aims to promote cultural exchange while providing a platform for dialogue among stakeholders committed to the region’s continued growth and development.
The Mid-Autumn Festival, also known as the Moon Festival, is widely celebrated across Asia and symbolizes family unity, harmony, and thanksgiving—values that event organizers said reflect Clark’s evolving identity as a diverse and progressive community.
