ATPI Philippines to expand AI-driven marine travel services after industry award

ATPI Philippines is investing in new AI and data-driven technologies and expanding its end-to-end crew-change services to strengthen its position in global marine travel and logistics.

The move follows ATPI’s September 2025 acquisition by Direct Travel, which created a combined travel network handling more than US$6 billion in volume.

The company recently won Specialty Travel Agency of the Year: Marine Industry at the TDM Travel Trade Excellence Awards Asia 2025, recognizing its 30 years of marine travel expertise and ability to deliver tailored services for complex maritime operations.

Managing director Yvette Araullo said the firm is enhancing data visibility, travel solutions, partnerships, and marine infrastructure while leveraging advanced technology and Filipino maritime specialists.

ATPI’s 24/7 World Support Centre in Makati supports the world’s largest seafarer pool, using tools like Traveler Tracking System, CrewHub, and CrewLink to improve safety, compliance, and efficiency. The company reports a 98% client retention rate, up to 20% yearly savings, and smarter crew-rotation strategies.

ATPI’s data insights have also helped clients reduce costs by 17 percent in high-expense ports and optimize crew-change locations, including an 8 percent shift of off-signers to Asia in 2025.
