Globe Telecom and First Philippine Industrial Park (FPIP) have signed a partnership agreement to bring faster, more reliable fiber internet to FPIP in Sto. Tomas, Batangas. The collaboration aims to provide high-quality connectivity to more than 150 companies and over 80,000 employees in the park, supporting smoother operations, real-time collaboration, and data-driven decision-making.
FPIP, a 600-hectare industrial park home to global and local manufacturers in sectors like electronics, automotive, aerospace, and medical devices, has a shared dark fiber facility that allows Globe to deploy services quickly and efficiently.
Michelle Y. Ora, Globe VP for Strategic Partnerships, said the partnership reflects Globe’s commitment to delivering world-class connectivity, helping businesses innovate and compete globally. FPIP’s Jason de las Alas highlighted the importance of reliable internet for the park’s locators and ongoing efforts to enhance digital infrastructure.
The agreement was formalized at a contract signing attended by representatives from both Globe and FPIP, marking a milestone in strengthening the park’s digital backbone and supporting its continued growth.
