UPS Delbros is ramping up its footprint in the Philippines, with plans to increase operational flights by 2028 as it deepens investments in local logistics infrastructure and trade-enabling capabilities. The expansion signals a long-term bet on the country’s role in regional and global supply chains.
The company said its strategy hinges on innovation, collaboration, and sustained infrastructure support, aligning global logistics expertise with strong local execution.
Central to this is the long-standing partnership between UPS and the Delbros Group—one of the few global joint ventures pairing an international logistics giant with a Philippine partner. The alliance dates back to 1999, when the UPS Asian hub was established in the country, helping elevate domestic logistics standards over the past two decades.

As part of its continuing commitment, UPS Philippines and Delbros Group recently donated a mechanized conveyor belt system to Clark Air Base, bolstering national logistics and public-sector capacity. The automated system, previously deployed at the UPS Clark Hub, was turned over to the Philippine Air Force to improve cargo handling speed and operational efficiency.
Capable of sorting and loading more than 1,000 packages per hour, the conveyor system strengthens the Air Base’s ability to move essential supplies quickly—an upgrade seen as critical for both day-to-day operations and emergency response.
UPS Delbros said the initiative reflects its broader push to support infrastructure that underpins trade flows, resilience, and community readiness.
“We are deeply grateful for the Philippine Air Force’s commitment to protecting our country, and that is the major motivation behind this donation,” said Jose Paolo Delgado, president and chief executive officer of Delbros Group.
With fresh infrastructure investments and planned flight expansions on the horizon, UPS Delbros aims to further cement the Philippines’ position as a vital logistics and trade hub in Southeast Asia, supporting exporters, manufacturers, and time-sensitive supply chains.
