Lenovo bets on Agentic AI to close the enterprise AI maturity gap

Lenovo has announced a major expansion of its enterprise AI offerings with the launch of Lenovo Agentic AI and a new suite of platforms called Lenovo xIQ, aimed at helping businesses deploy and manage AI at scale more quickly and responsibly. The announcement was made in Las Vegas as part of the next phase of Lenovo’s Hybrid AI Advantage™, which now moves beyond core AI infrastructure to a full, lifecycle-driven approach for enterprise AI.

Lenovo Agentic AI is designed to help organizations create, deploy, and manage production-ready AI agents by combining governance, automation, advisory services, and ongoing support. The goal is to help companies turn AI plans into measurable business results while reducing complexity and risk. By bringing together Lenovo AI Services and the Lenovo AI Library of validated, customizable use cases, the solution allows enterprises to identify high-value applications and move from pilot projects to full deployment in as little as three months.

Alongside Agentic AI, Lenovo introduced Lenovo xIQ, a suite of AI-native delivery platforms that apply shared automation and governance across key areas of enterprise operations. These platforms are designed to strengthen Lenovo’s Hybrid AI Advantage™ by making it easier for organizations to scale AI with confidence. The xIQ platforms focus on intelligent AI agents, the digital workplace, and hybrid cloud infrastructure, helping companies improve productivity, reduce IT costs, and optimize performance across on-premises and cloud environments.

Lenovo said the new offerings respond to growing demand from businesses for AI that can take action, adapt to changing conditions, and deliver real outcomes, rather than simply generate content. According to the company, many organizations still struggle to operationalize AI, despite expectations that agentic workflows will significantly reshape how work is done over the next few years. Lenovo’s approach aims to close this gap by combining lifecycle services, proven use cases, and enterprise-grade governance.

The company highlighted its work with Yili Group, a global dairy producer, as an example of how Agentic AI can deliver practical results. Through Lenovo AI Services, Yili used AI to improve customer insights, gain real-time visibility into its supply chain, and enhance digital commerce, leading to better efficiency, resilience, and customer experience.

Ken Wong, Executive Vice President and President of Lenovo’s Solutions and Services Group, said customers want AI to deliver value without adding complexity. He said Lenovo’s full-stack approach gives enterprises a clear starting point and helps ensure AI agents are applied where they matter most to the business.

Lenovo said the combination of Hybrid AI Advantage™, Agentic AI, and Lenovo xIQ creates a complete enterprise AI ecosystem, covering everything from AI agents and employee devices to data centers and cloud environments. The company positions itself as one of the few technology providers able to support the entire enterprise AI journey, from initial deployment to long-term operation and governance.
