Asiabest Group International, Inc. (ABG) is making a bold move to reshape the Philippines’ construction landscape.
On Tuesday, February 3, the company announced the formation of ABG Modular, a wholly owned subsidiary designed to fast-track modern modular construction solutions across the country.
With an authorized capital stock of P100 million, ABG Modular aims to deliver faster, cost-efficient, and more sustainable building projects, targeting critical sectors including mass housing, commercial developments, schools, and infrastructure.
The initiative comes as developers and investors increasingly turn to modular construction for its speed, cost predictability, and consistent quality—advantages traditional methods often struggle to match.
“The planned creation of ABG Modular is anchored on our mission to become a vertically integrated supply, logistics, and manufacturing powerhouse,” said Jan Michael Lim, ABG’s investor relations officer. “By expanding our design-and-build capabilities for housing developments and schools, we can translate speed, reliability, and sustainability into tangible shareholder value.”
ABG Modular will kick off operations in partnership with Concrete Stone Corp. (CSC), a leading precast and aggregates producer. The collaboration is expected to provide advanced production capabilities, enabling high-quality precast components, scalable operations, and faster project delivery.
Modular construction could be a game-changer in the Philippines, addressing housing and school infrastructure gaps while improving margins and accelerating project timelines. By positioning itself at the forefront of this shift, ABG Modular is poised to capture high-demand contracts and drive long-term revenue growth.
